Meet Karli Costley. Since birth, everyone commented on Karli’s sparkly, beautiful bright blue eyes. Ironically, the same aspect of Karli that drew everyone in was the part of her body that threatened her very life. At the young age of just three years old, Karli was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, cancer of the eye. Since diagnosis in 2008, Karli has gone through numerous treatments, many infusing chemotherapy directly into her eyes. Bravely fighting, Karli was recently given the all-clear on her scans, no more cancer. Karli will continue to have routine check-ups to be sure that she remains cancer-free.
