Meet Jessica Ueltschi. Shortly before her fourth birthday, “Jessi” was diagnosed with High Risk B-Precursor Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in November of 2009. Almost immediately, Jessi began a series of what would be a long two-and-a-half year treatment plan to rid her small body of cancer. Undergoing harsh treatments, Jessica remained the spunky, happy-go-lucky child that many had come to know and love. Butterfly Kisses had the pleasure of meeting Jessica and delivering a care basket to her as she received chemotherapy treatments. Jessica is truly kicking cancer’s bootie! Jessi’s treatment plan is scheduled to finish in February of 2012. The treatments have been long, stressful, and painful on Jessi’s body, mind and spirit – but she remains strong in the face of cancer. Learn more about Jessica’s journey by visiting her caringbridge. We have been so blessed to be a part of her courageous fight against ALL.
