Meet Eli Roe. Eli was diagnosed in July of 2009 at two years old with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). From diagnosis, Eli was presented with an extensive treatment plan consisting of nearly three years of harsh treatment. Eli has responded remarkably well to treatment but still has a long road ahead, with treatment ending in November of 2012. He has gone through a variety of different treatments including chemotherapy, steroids, and other treatments that came with painful side effects for the little boy. Eli loves all things sports, Curious George, and “Angry Birds” and is now attending preschool while receiving chemo. We had the pleasure of delivering a fun-filled care basket to Eli and brother, Henry. Talkative, silly, and filled with excitement, we had a blast playing with the boys and meeting the Roe family. Learn more about Eli at his caringbridge. Butterfly Kisses has been blessed to be part of Eli’s courageous battle against leukemia.
