Meet Joshua Milman. Having been healthy throughout his life, it came as a shock, when on June 7th, 2009, Joshua was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Even more terrifying was the news that he would need several brain surgeries before the type of tumor would even be determined. Josh underwent two brain surgeries before his diagnosis was official: he had a Grade 2 Astrocytoma. Once confirmed, Josh underwent yet another risky brain surgery. Once recovered from surgery, Joshua began even further treatment – chemotherapy. Despite the pain and suffering that these treatments caused him, Josh faced each and every obstacle with two things – a smile and his loving mother by his side. Today, he continues to undergo treatment to rid his brain of cancer and to prevent it from ever returning. Butterfly Kisses has been blessed to be a part of Josh’s courageous fight against brain cancer.
