Meet Ariel Strommer

Meet Ariel Strommer. In December of 2010, Ariel, the youngest of three kids and had previously been very healthy, received life-altering news. What was first diagnosed as an ear infection and croup cough took a drastic turn when Ariel was diagnosed on December 17, 2010, with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Immediately, Ariel began treatment at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hopsital and in just two weeks, went through multiple IV’s, bone marrow biopsies, dialysis, spinal taps, catheters, central lines, and had severe bruising. Right away, her mediport was put in, along with a nasogastric tube and a G-tube. All in just two short weeks! Today, over a year after diagnosis, Ariel continues to receive chemotherapy treatments in the hope that she will be cured of Leukemia and remain cancer-free for a long, joy-filled life. To follow Ariel’s progress, please visit her blog site or her Facebook page. Butterfly Kisses has been blessed to be a part of Ariel’s courageous fight against Leukemia.
