Meet Nicholas Young. Nicholas, the youngest of three sons, had always been rambunctious, silly, and playful, so it came as a shock when he wasn’t acting like his typical self. This led to December of 2011, when 8-year-old Nicholas was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Immediately, he began chemo treatments – part of a treatment plan that will last more than two years. Despite being so sick, Nicholas’ spirit has remained upbeat, and he impressed doctors and nurses as he did his math homework while in the hospital. As he continues to undergo treatment, Nicholas will be surrounded by his older brothers and his single mom, who are his biggest cheerleaders. Butterfly Kisses has been blessed to be a part of Nicholas’ courageous fight against Leukemia.
