Childhood cancer…what do you know?
As an organization, we commit to helping children with terminal illnesses, most often cancer but we have also assisted families of children with cystic fibrosis, premature delivery, and more. This section will focus on a silent epidemic that is covering our children – pediatric cancer. Every week-day in the United States, 46 children will be diagnosed with cancer. That is two classrooms full of kids – kids just like you, your daughter or son, your niece or nephew, your cousin, your friend, your neighbor…No one is exempt. Every week-day in the United States, 7 children will die from cancer. These are 7 childhoods, 7 daughters and sons, that are lost painfully to childhood cancer.

Okay…what does that mean to me?
Even if your child does not have cancer or is not terminally ill, someone’s child does. Suddenly, their world is now focused on saving their child’s life. A world that was once filled with happiness, hide-and-seek, and Candy Land is now filled with IV’s, scans, ports, chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and hospital stays. Their world is transformed.
